To mint dropchan, you will need the cryptocurrency XRP and an XRP wallet.

1Get XRP
To mint dropchan, you will need the cryptocurrency XRP.
XRP can be purchased at cryptocurrency exchanges.
Transaction fees on the XRPL for sending NFTs or minting are extremely low (less than 1 yen), but certain actions—such as activating a wallet or placing offers—temporarily lock a small amount of XRP.
To be safe, we recommend sending an extra 2 XRP to your wallet.
Locked XRP
Address activation
1 XRP
After creating a wallet address in Xaman, a deposit of 1 XRP is required to activate the address.
This amount can be recovered if you later delete the address.
Holding offers
0.2 XRP (per offer)
Each time you place an offer, 0.2 XRP is temporarily locked and cannot be used.
Once the offer is completed or canceled, the 0.2 XRP is returned to your wallet. Depending on the wallet or service you use, the locked amount may appear as deducted from your balance.
Holding NFTs
0.2 XRP (per 32 NFTs)
For approximately every 32 NFTs you hold, 0.2 XRP is temporarily locked as a reserve and cannot be used.
When you reduce the number of NFTs you hold, the 0.2 XRP is returned. As with offers, some wallets or services may show this amount as deducted from your balance.
